Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice (no bake!)

I seriously cannot believe its already June!?? How are we almost half way through the year already!
Today I am coming to you with a totally delicious and easy recipe! No bake, chocolate peanut butter slice!
When it comes to treats or desserts my favourite combination is chocolate and peanut butter, there is literally nothing better! I have many recipes with this combination, including chocolate peanut butter brownies, chocolate filled peanut butter cookies, & vegan snickers, to name a few!! Clearly I'm slightly obsessed!

Of course if peanut butter isn't your thing, def substitute these with almond or cashew butter!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice (no bake)
Ingredients
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup oats
1 cup dates soaked in boiling water
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup soften peanut butter
100g dark chocolate (vegan)
Method
1. In a food processor, blitz together the almonds, oats, cocoa powder and dates till you get a crumbly mixture. Press into a loaf tin lined with baking paper.
2. Spread the peanut butter over the date base, and place in the fridge while you melt the chocolate.
3. Melt the chocolate in a microwave in 30 second bursts until full melted. Mine took around 2 and a half minutes.
4. Spread over the peanut butter, and place back in the fridge for about 1-2 hours to set. Slice and EAT!

There you have it! So so easy, took my about 15 minutes to whip up! The hard part is waiting for it to set! But this is a great treat to have when you have that sweet tooth calling, or to take to school/uni/work or share with family and friends!
